
Surprise!
I'm hijacking the blog for a quick technique post. I was able to steal away this past weekend and do some scraping and I promised Judy months ago that if I ever created again that I'd post. So, in keeping with my promise, here's a little tutorial:
(Actually, I'm pretty sure, I've shown this idea before but it was many moons ago and sometimes it's just nice to have an idea repeated in a different way to get the juices flowing, right?!)
Masking:

1- Pick your sticker, vinyl letter, or shape and place where you want it on your paper.
2 - Using ink, chalk, or paint add color over the top of your sticker and blend into the paper until you have the shade you are looking for.
3- Remove sticker!
See, easy!
It's a fun way to add a new look to your pages, cards and such.
Here's my completed layout I did using this technique.
