Gift idea

It's now less than a week before Christmas - wow, time goes fast - and I figured maybe you'd like to see some gift ideas that you could pick up quick at Judy's.

Today's choice = Candles!

We've shown candles before. Lots of times actually. We've got lots of wonderful smelling real candles in stock and they make great gifts. However, these are different. These are decorative candles that will help spruce up your home and are kid friendly. (Can't get burned by a wooden flame). And, they are really cute too.

These shown are in Christmas colors but really could remain out all year as part of your home decor.

In a Jam....

In a jam..... for gift ideas????

If you need some quick little gifts don't forget that Judy's has all kinds of items. Including these yummy jams and jellies.

And if you need a simple and quick gift with a clever saying here's a what you can do...

What you will need:
1- Yummy jar of jam or jelly
1- loaf of yummy bread
1- new bread knife
packaging (like a basket or gift bag.)

What you do:
put all the items together in the bag or basket and make up a tag that says....

"You're the best "jam" friend I've ever had. No matter how you "slice" it, you're always there when I "knead" you. Thanks for everything and Merry Christmas!"

More quick gift ideas to come....

Enjoy!

Snowy, snow, snowmen!

If you haven't notice, I'm having issues keeping up. I have so many things to show and ideas to share but am running out of time. Anyone know where I can buy more time??? Hey, speaking of things to buy, the gift shop section at the store has been updated again. And, when Judy sent me these pictures I about died. If you are a snowman fan, or know of someone who is, than stop in and check out all our snowy-snow-snowmen. I love the plate shown above and these are pretty cute too....

and, don't miss these little guys either.....

I'm totally loving all the snowmen themed products. They make great little gifts too.

And, speaking of snow - Judy is doing free mini classes on making three dimensional snowflakes. I haven't seen them yet but they are all the rage and are absolutely beautiful! Stop in and ask her about them.

Amy

Purr-fect mini album

I know you were probably expecting a Christmas post - don't worry those are coming! In the mean-time though, here's a gift idea for you. We have made up a few pet related kits. (The one shown is for a cat but we have them for dogs too.)

These kits have everything pre-cut & ready for you. There are even photos of the inside pages that act as your guide for assembling the album.

If you have a pet, or know someone who does, then this just might be the perfect Christmas gift. After all, most pets are considered family and what better way to celebrate them then having an album filled with photos and journaling about them.

Here's a quick look at one of the pages that Judy started for her cat. She's already added the photos and once the journaling is done, she's got a great little album. It's purr-fect!!!

Amy

just a thought....

As we dive into the holiday season I've been thinking about connections. When you celebrate your traditions this year I encourage you to link them to the past and then journal about why they are important to you. Those traditions started somewhere and because you still do them, they must be special - scrapbook them!

I actually did this, much by accident, when I created this layout. However, it has quickly become one of my favorites. Not because of the design, product, or embellishments but because of the meaning. The layouts I love the most are the ones that I've taken the time to really think about and journal my feelings. I know that is hard for some to do, but it's so worth it.

So, find two photos that go together but are separated by years and then scrapbook them together and explain their meaningful connection - the results with be priceless and will most likely become your favorite work.

Smiles,
Amy

Christmas in Coming

Sorry for my absence. I do hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and a wonderful weekend.

Here's a quick little post to get you in the mood for Christmas. Aren't these little elves cute? And, we've stocked up again on our metalic outline Christmas stickers, these were a huge hit last year.

And, I know I haven't been the best blog updater later, the good news is though, that I've been busy crafting and will have some project/gift ideas to share soon.

Take care,
Amy
